The October Project Planner is based on an existing enterprise project planner I created for a large national manufacturing client. Using a web-accessed database server to store project data, the planner allows any number of team members to collaboratively contribute to the planning process, reporting progress and recording notes and updates. The plan is to create a small series of products, starting with a personal planner ipad app (1 user), and building up to a full enterprise version ipad app (and a web browser-based version as well). This project is based on an existing product designed and built by industry to work in a large, distributed manufacturing company - so a proven winner.
