KredStreet: The Social Stock Trader RankingsOver the past 2 years our team has built a proprietary sentiment engine which 'listens' to stock trader chatter on social media. The engine itself measures bullishness and bearishness and creates two sentiment indices based on those measurements. The sentiment indices very closely correlate with actual stock market moves (bearishness is inverse). We won't go as far as to say these are predictive (yet) of the market but they are certainly reflective.
