Gorman and Millin co-founded Mail.com in 1995. Mail.com was a pioneer in personalized consumer email. Mail.com went public on the NASDAQ in June of 1999. Peaked at 1400 employees and 4 operating divisions. The Mail.com consumer division was sold and is now owned and run by United Internet, the German publically listed Internet leader whose webmail brands (Mail.com, Web.de and GMX.com) serve 60 million users.
