In today’s healthcare industry, physician, patient, clinic, lab, pharmacy, and hospitals are still working in isolated and silos mode. As the EMR, PHR, and other electronic version of medical records and documents evolve with several specifications like HL7, HIPAA, DICOM, PACS, HIS etc, there is need of integration of operation by IT platform which is ubiquitous and easy to use. Merely EMR and PHR system will not solve the problem, rather it needs to be shared and used by several users.
