Diasign is an early stage manufacturer of laser‐based diamond inspection instruments that distinguish between a natural mined diamond and a lab produced diamond. The instrument is based on a new laser spectroscopic technique. The product is a low cost instrument that can be easily used by jewelers and pawn shops. The instrument significantly reduces the number of gemstones requiring more intensive and time consuming examination on more sophisticated instruments.
