Lake Dolores is a closed waterpark in Newberry Springs California. Located off the I-15 freeway it is halfway between Los Angeles Ca and Las Vegas Nv. The park has no completion for miles around. Once opened it would provide a place place to cool off in a area that sees 120 degree highs and a place for travelers to stop and rest on their long journey. The park would also provide jobs to the towns of Newberry Springs and Yermo that have a combined unemployment rate of 10.1 and new job rate -20.8.
