The Karma Seed is essentially pay it forward, but in the 21st century. People perform random-acts-of-kindness and physically pass along a plastic card (looks and feels like a credit card) after performing a favor for a stranger. The recipient of the favor simply goes online and performs a "checkin", each member enters the city and state where the favor occurred as well as a description of the favor that person received.
