The One World Futbol is virtually indestructible. Unlike standard soccer balls, it never deflates, never needs a pump or needle, never gets waterlogged, adjusts for differences in temperature and altitude, and goes on playing even if punctured multiple times. Because the One World Futbol will last for decades, each futbol may ultimately replace hundreds of standard soccer balls, which are notoriously vulnerable to puncture -- lowering costs for the many UN agencies and NGOs that use soccer in programs for peace and development, dramatically reducing the burden on landfills and garbage heaps, and offering corporations that sponsor the ball an ideal, long-lasting reminder of their brand value.
