TMTPOST -- Chinese President Xi Jinping attended a symposium on private enterprises in Beijing on Monday.

Xi, who is also General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, delivered important remarks after hearing speeches from representatives of private enterprises.

The attendees came from China's emerging industries that have taken the center stage of the world. The following is a list of prominent businessmen at the symposium:

Jack Ma, the founder of e-commerce giant Alibaba Group; Lei Jun, Founder and CEO of leading phone and electric vehicle (EV) producer Xiaomi Corporation; Liang Wenfeng, Founder of DeepSeek, a leading Chinese AI company; Liu Yonghao, Chairman of New Hope Group, a large agribusiness conglomerate based in China; Wang Xingxing, Founder and CEO of leading robotics company Unitree Robotics; Liu Qingfeng, the founder of AI startup iFlytek; Wang Xing, Founder and CEO of Meituan, a Chinese online service platform; Nan Cunhui, Chairman of Chint Group, a leading Chinese company specializing in electrical equipment; Qi Xiangdong, the founder of cyber security firm Qianxin; Zeng Yuqun, Founder and Chairman of CATL, a leading global lithium-ion battery producer; Wang Chuanfu, Chairman of BYD, a leading EV maker; Ren Zhengfei, Founder and CEO of Huawei Technologies, a global telecommunications equipment and consumer electronics company; Xu Guanju, President of Transfar Group, a diversified logistics company; Yu Renrong, an entrepreneur in chipmaking; Xu Ming, Founder of Galaxy Space; and Peng Fan, a businessman in smart manufacturing; and Huang Daifang, President of TellHow Group.

As of the press time, the stock market showed mixed reactions: Transfar Group surged over 10%, Chint Electric rose by 6.91%, Qianxin increased by 4.92%, New Hope climbed 5.05%, Tencent's Hong Kong shares gained 3.92%, Feihe rose by 2.73%, and iFlytek edged up 0.86%.

BYD's Hong Kong shares fell by 2.75%, Alibaba's Hong Kong shares dropped 1.45%, Meituan's Hong Kong shares declined by 0.88%, CATL dipped 0.11%, while Xiaomi's Hong Kong shares rose by 1.01%, and Will Semiconductor saw a slight increase of 0.21%.
