BEIJING, May 5 (TMTPOST) — Baidu’s founder and CEO Robin Li announced in an internal email that the company would start a new round of senior management team rotation.

The internal email says that Baidu’s executive vice president Shen Dou will head the company’s AI Cloud Group (ACG). Jackson He will be promoted to the senior vice president of the group and serve as the rotating head of the Baidu Mobile Ecosystem Group (MEG). Wang Heifeng will continue to serve as Executive Vice President and CTO of the Group and will no longer serve as head of ACG.

The most important organizational adjustment is the appointment of a new head of the Baidu ACG. The company said that Shen will be leading the ACG team to accelerate the implementation of the company’s AI+Cloud strategy and achieve breakthroughs in both quantity and quality.
