On July 18th, Xiaomi officially released the 32-inch Mi TV 4A, the smallest and cheapest TV set amid its product line. Featuring simplistic design and priced at RMB1,099 (around $163), Xiaomi Mi TV 4A (32 inches) comes with a high-resolution LCD display, a 64-bit quad-core processor, an AI-based PatchWall system.

The new Mi TV 4A uses a plastic housing with its entire body coming in black color (something very typical of Xiaomi), a 32-inch display with a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels and refresh rate of 60Hz and is powered by the 6th generation graphics engine.

As to the operating system, the 32-inch Mi TV 4A is controlled by an AI-based PatchWall system. Xiaomi brought the AI technology of Mi Brain into Mi TV 4A, so that it can conduct deep learning and classify film & TV series contents for users’ convenience sake and recommend contents catering to the tastes and using habit of users. To avoid the difficulty to show users a variety of contents and allow users to scroll up and down the search result, PathWall, a magazine-like waterfall flow interface, is adopted.

As to portals, Mi TV 4A comes with two HDMI ports, one AV port, one USB and one cable port. Therefore, users are free to connect Mi TV 4A with game consoles, USB or mobile hard disks as they like.

With a total weight of only 3.94 kilograms, the new 32-inch Mi TV 4A is suitable in bedrooms, especially in rented houses. As for the price, the 32-inch version Xiaomi Mi TV 4A will officially go on sale at 0.00 on July 23rd at a price of RMB 1,099 (around $163). Besides, on the day sales would open, Xiaomi will be offering a 100 yuan off the shipping fee.
