BEIJING, January 10 (TMTPOST) – The sales of excavator totaled 16,698 units in December 2023, experiencing a slight 1.01% year-on-year decline. Notably, domestic sales surged by 24%, reaching 7,625 units, while exports decreased by 15.3% to 9,073 units. Throughout 2023, a total of 195,018 excavators were sold, marking a 25.4% annual decrease. Domestically, 89,980 units were sold, representing a 40.8% year-on-year drop, while exports amounted to 105,038 units, with a 4.04% year-on-year decrease, according to data released by China Construction Machinery Association on Tuesday.
