BEIJING, January 20 (TMTPOST)— Chinese internet giant Baidu plans to file for its secondary listing in Hong Kong after Chinese New Year and appointed Goldman Sachs and CITIC Securities as sponsors for the deal, Tencent News reported on Wednesday, without identifying the sources.
Neither Baidu, Goldman Sachs nor CITIC commented the report.
Earlier this month, Bloomberg’s sources revealed Baidu has selected CLSA Ltd. and Goldman Sachs to arrange its listing in Hong Kong as soon as the first half of year and it may raise at least US$ 3.5 billion.
