BEIJING, January 20 (TMTPOST) -- The Ministry of Transport has estimated that around 1.7 billion trips will be made during the Spring Festival this year. The Spring Festival, known as the Lunar New Year, is the most important national holiday in China during which people return to their hometowns from all over China to reunite with their families.
It is estimated that this year there would be 40 million people travelling every day during the largest annual migration on Earth, up by over 10% from 2020.
