BEIJING, October 16 (TMTPOST)— Carl Pei confirmed he has left OnePlus, a major Chinese smart phone maker he co-founded and worked for nearly 7 years. Pei showed gratitude to his colleges, especially another co-founder Pete Lau for giving him the chance, trust, mentorship, according to the post he sent to OnePlus communities on Friday. Earlier this week, TechCrunch’s source said Pei left OnePlus to start a new venture for his own. In Friday's post, Pei didn’t disclose his intention for the leave, but signaled he intends to create a startup. “The things we’ve accomplished and learned, I can’t begin to imagine a more rewarding adventure,” he wrote in the post.
