Ma predicts that in the future, robots can complete mass-manufacturing work, and the existing manufacturing industry will be replaced by the service industry.

(Chinese Version)

Alibaba Group chairman Jack Ma shared the three key words in his mind, "vigorously developing modern service industry, openness and greenness", at the 5th China Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) on May 28th.

Ma said that over the next three decades, technology will penetrate in all aspects of society, and will bring great changes in the future. Profound changes will occur in trade, employment as well as the manufacturing industry. "The driving force for future employment will not be the manufacturing industry, but the modern service industry."

He predicts that in the future, robots can complete mass-manufacturing work, and the existing manufacturing industry will be replaced by the service industry. People will be engaged in design, creativity, and experience, which can hardly be replaced by machines.
